The Wesson Group Cares: Making a Difference in Our Communities
At The Wesson Group, we believe that being a good community partner means more than simply doing business in the communities where we live and work. It means giving back, supporting important causes, and investing in the people and organizations that help make our communities stronger.
So far in 2026, The Wesson Group Cares supported a diverse range of organizations throughout our communities. From youth athletics and education to healthcare, the arts, environmental causes, and community services, our giving reflects the many ways our employees and our company are connected to the communities around us.
We were proud to support local organizations such as the West Mountain Ski Team, Gloversville Educational Foundation, Saint Pius X School, Fulton County YMCA, and Fulton-Montgomery Community College, helping provide opportunities for students and young people to learn, grow, and thrive. Our support also extended to organizations providing essential services, including Mountain Valley Hospice, the Fulton/ Montgomery Mental Health Association, and the One Church Street Food Pantry, where our contribution helped fund a new 14' x 9' loading dock to support the pantry’s operations, and we continue to contribute food donations to help support local families in need.
Healthcare and medical research also remained an important part of our giving. The Wesson Group Cares supported the Miracle-Ear Foundation, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Charity Ride, CureSearch for Children's Cancer, and through employee-matched contributions to Make-A-Wish's Summer of Wishes. These organizations are working to improve lives and bring hope to individuals and families facing difficult circumstances.
Our commitment to the community also includes supporting the arts, recreation, and organizations that bring people together. This year, The Wesson Group Cares contributed to the Caroga Arts Collective, supported Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga, and contributed to The Wild Animal Park. We also proudly supported the ACE NY Fall Conference, reflecting our connection to the renewable energy industry and the communities in which we work.
From a $1,000 contribution to a $10,000 investment, each gift represents an opportunity to make a meaningful difference. While the organizations and causes may vary, they share something in common: they are making a positive impact on the lives of others.
